Glen Burnie Man Facing Over 20 Charges In Triple Stabbing
A 38-year-old Glen Burnie man is facing multiple charges in connection with a triple stabbing that took place over the weekend.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — Authorities on Tuesday identified 38-year-old Ryan David Matthews as the man arrested in the Glen Burnie triple stabbing.
Court records show Matthews is facing 21 charges in relation to the Sunday incident, nine of which are felony offenses.

- Three counts of first-degree attempted murder
- Three counts of second-degree attempted murder
- Three counts of first-degree assault
Additional misdemeanor charges range from second-degree assault to reckless endangerment, concealing a dangerous weapon, and intending to cause injury with a dangerous weapon.

The Anne Arundel County Police previously said Matthews was arrested as officers were responding to reports of a physical disturbance on the 400 block of Morningside Drive.
At the residence, investigators found three people suffering from stab wounds. Authorities were only able to take Matthews into custody after deploying their Tasers.
A resident of Glen Burnie, Matthews remains held without bond and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Sept. 9.
