13-Year-Old Boy Dies Nearly Two Weeks After Being Hit By Car In Lochearn

LOCHEARN, MD — Caden Morgan, a 13-year-old boy who suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car late last month, has died, police said.

Baltimore County Police said Morgan died Tuesday, nearly two weeks after he was hit by an Audi driver while he was riding his bicycle in the Lochearn area.

The crash occurred Aug. 28 near the intersection of Essex Road and Yataruba Drive.

Authorities said early findings indicate Morgan was on Yataruba Drive, riding toward Essex Road, when he was hit by the Audi traveling from the northbound lanes of Essex Road.

Police have not identified the driver of the Audi, who remained at the scene.

An investigation into the fatal crash remains ongoing.
