3 Maryland Powerball Winners Are Missing: MD Lottery

Have you forgotten to cash in on your lottery ticket from August? Three Powerball players must redeem prizes or lose out on $50,000 apiece.

BALTIMORE, MD โ€” The Maryland Lottery is looking for three Powerball winners who have $50,000 waiting for them at the agency's headquarters; three tickets sold in August have gone unclaimed, and officials say each was worth a $50,000 prize. The winning tickets were sold in Catonsville, Frederick and Glen Burnie over the summer, and if unclaimed in the coming weeks, lottery officials say the winners' luck will run out.

From the day of the drawing, players have 182 days to claim their prizes, according to Maryland Lottery rules.

Three Powerball winners from August must claim their winnings in the next few weeks or their prize money will be put back into the lotto pot toward other contests.
