Charlestown Staff Show Passion for Their Charities

CATONSVILLE, MD -- Sixty Charlestown retirement community employees participated April 24 in a Passion Walk encompassing a half-mile on their campus’ loop road in which they supported an array of causes and organizations they feel passionate about.

Some of the causes they walked to support included: Breast Cancer Research, Alzheimer’s Association, American Diabetes Association, Leukemia Research, and Various Animal Shelters and Humane Societies.

When the walkers made donations to the qualified charities of their choices, Erickson Living, the manager of Charlestown, extended the charitable reach by matching a portion of the contributions.
