Confirmed Coronavirus Case Total In Baltimore County At 17,939

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — As of Tuesday, Baltimore County has a total of 17,939 positive new coronavirus cases, according to the Baltimore County Health Department, and 607 deaths. The state has 124,311 confirmed cases and 3,802 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health. More than 15,460 people have been hospitalized.

The number of confirmed cases in Baltimore County nursing homes stands at 984. The number of death cases in Baltimore County nursing homes is at 102.

The following zip codes have the highest confirmed case counts in Baltimore County as of Sept. 29:

• 21222 with 1,367 cases
• 21234 with 1,313 cases
• 21117 with 1,201 cases
• 21228 with 1,167 cases
• 21220 with 1,059 cases

The county health department has its own website created to monitor the situation, broken down by new cases per day and other data.

The CDC advises doing the following to stop the spread of the virus:
