Information Sought In Teen Bicyclist's Hit-And-Run Death: Police

The Baltimore County Police Department seeks the public's help in discovering who hit and killed a 16-year-old riding her bicycle Monday.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Investigators with the Baltimore County Police Department's crash team continue to search for the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that Monday shortly after midnight that involved a teenager.

The 16-year-old victim, Jayden Baldree, was riding a bicycle at the time of the crash. Baldree was traveling northbound along Northpoint Boulevard near Baltimore Street when a car traveling in the same lane struck her from behind and fled the scene. Baldree did not survive.

Officers later located the suspect’s unoccupied vehicle at the intersection of Baltimore Street and Eastbrook Avenue. Prior to fleeing the scene, the tags to the 2005 Acura were removed.

Anyone who may have information about this crash is asked to call 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers, an organization that is separate from the Baltimore County Police Department and Baltimore County government. Metro Crime Stoppers offers rewards of up to $2,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges in connection with felony offenses.
