Man Arrested Over Fatal Shooting
A 21-year-old man has been charged over a fatal shooting that took place last week, police said.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Deontay Studivant, a 21-year-old man from Halethorpe, was arrested and is facing charges over a recent fatal shooting.
Baltimore County Police said Studivant is tied to the shooting that was reported last Wednesday on the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle.
Police were alerted to the shooting shortly before 12:30 a.m. after 21-year-old Damon Walker was admitted to an area hospital for a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Walker, police said, died from his injuries the next day.
The latest court records show Studivant is charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

Studivant remains held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 5.
