• Men's Basketball Set to Host Preseason Fundraiser (umbcretrievers.com) — UMBC men's basketball is inviting local fans to a preseason fundraiser at The Basement at El Guapo on Frederick Road in Catonsville on Saturday, October 10. For a $65 registration, attendees get food, a two-hour open bar, and a preview of the upcoming season directly from Coach Ferry and the team.
