Photo Gallery: Comets Preseason Football Practice

Fresh off a playoff appearance in 2010, Catonsville takes the field this summer hungrier than ever for a return trip. And, by the looks of things, there are going to be plenty of mouths to feed.

Over 148 players (varsity and JV combined) showed up for the first day of practice on Saturday. And, while several of those players may not make the final roster, the overall player turnout in the opening weeks of camp is a true testament to the football culture at Catonsville. Kids want to be a part of it.

Here are some shots from Wednesday’s 10 a.m. practice where the Comets took part in individual and team drills, while enjoying a gorgeous upper 80-degree day.
