Prep Softball: All-County, All-Division Squads Released

Second baseman Jordan Monck, third baseman Kim Dorsey and pitcher Mary Sobota (under the utility designation) all earned First Team All-County honors for a Franklin squad that finished the season 13-4.

Catonsville’s Shelby Alther (first base) and Lansdowne’s Kelli Pease (outfield) were also first team selections.

Pease saw two of her Vikings teammates receive Second Team All-County recognition, as pitcher Maude McCourry and second baseman Hunter Long were also chosen for the list.

Franklin outfielder Jackie White brought home second team honors, as well.

Notable First Team All-Division selections include: outfielder Emily Wolford (Lansdowne), third baseman Alicia Townes (Owings Mills), and Chelsea Lucas (New Town).

In addition to Townes, Owings Mills had four players selected to the All-Division second team.
