Student Transition Day Returns – Monday, Aug. 24 (montgomeryschoolsmd.org) — Families in Chevy Chase should note that MCPS is holding a full-day Student Transition Day on Monday, Aug. 24, giving students at Chevy Chase ES and North Chevy Chase ES an early start in their new buildings. Incoming kindergartners, 6th- and 9th-graders, plus Grade 3 students at designated intermediate schools, can tour schools, meet staff, practice routines, and ride regular bus routes before classes begin Aug. 25.
