• Wall Street Journal Writer John Michael Clarke Jr. Passes (myrye.com) — A longtime journalist who settled in Chevy Chase in 2013, working for Reuters and later writing A-hed features for the Wall Street Journal, has died at age 55. His career took him from Oregon to Colorado, New York, Utah, and finally the Washington region. He is remembered by family in New England and Florida, and by many friends and colleagues nationwide.
