BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS outside event to bless animals. Blessing of the Animals takes place the first weekend in October as a celebration for St. Francis of Assisi Feast Day. Bring your pets (town leash and containment laws apply) or bring a photo. Invite friends and neighbors to bring their pets. The
blessing of each animal, by name, means that health, healing and life
are being mediated from God for the benefit of the animal in its
relationship with its human partners. Coffee and snacks provided.
