A Music Festival you don’t need a ticket to attend, only a love for the earth and community.

. Earth Day celebrates people, especially those who are stepping up to make a difference.

Here’s to celebrating those who are making a difference and making this world a little better.  Cheers.

The Earth Day Project and Music Festival on April 21 & 22, provided an opportunity for people to step up and make a difference for the earth.

The Volunteer Project took place on Saturday morning and involved volunteers from local high schools, the community college, the university, and the College Park community who fished out 35 bags worth of trash, big chunks of metal, and removed invasive species from the Paint Branch Stream and Trail, and the storm drainage pond near the Cherry Hill Road Community Park.

The Live Music that evening featured local bands: Annedel, Megosh, Storm the Beaches, and Me and This Army. Festival attendees relaxed in the sun and played around in the light drizzle that started near the end of the concert.

The Festival on Sunday was short lived when a big storm rolled into the area with thunder.
