Cash Reward Being Offered for Tip in 7-11 Armed Robbery

Two suspects with handguns robbed the 7-11 convenience store on Edgewood Road Monday morning.

 

A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for a tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the two suspects police believe are responsible for an armed robbery that occurred at the 7-11 in north College Park early Monday morning.

Two suspects took money from the convenience store, located at 4921 Edgewood Road, at approximately 12:40 a.m. Monday, according to the Prince George's County Police blog.

Both suspects carried black semi-automatic handguns, but no one was hurt in the incident, according to Cpl. Rodney Gause. Police can't disclose the amount of money stolen, because the case is currently being investigated, Gause said.

He provided the following description for the two suspects:

  1. Black male, approximately 6-foot-3-inches and 170 pounds and about 25 to 30 years old; black ski mask, grey jacket, blue jeans, white and black tennis shoes and black backpack
  2. Black male, approximately 5-foot-8-inchese and 190 pounds and about 30 years old; black ski mask, black jacket and blue jeans
