College Park Resident Says Metro Stations Need Character
What changes would make the station here say "College Park?"
A Washington Post columnist is wondering what a Metro station should say about its city, and he interviewed a College Park resident for some answers.
Dale Rose is a mechanical engineer who thinks Washington Metro stations are lacking in any sort of character, as compared to others around the world that exude culture and soul.
"I’m wondering what kind of message we’re sending about what our soul is in D.C. with the look of ours," Rose told The Post. He even suggests there should be contests for artists to redesign the stations to reflect the individual communities.
