The University of Maryland is hosting a 5K run to raise money for Keep Me Maryland, an emergency fund created to assist students at risk of leaving from the university due to financial hardship.
The race will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6 at the Comcast Center at the University of Maryland.
The race costs $10 for students and $20 for anyone else to register. All runners receive an Under Armour shirt (a $25 value). Registration is available at http://www.keepmemaryland.umd.edu or call 301-405-7529.
