The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organization will host its second annual walkathon to fight hunger. The College Park, Md. walkathon is part of a series of walks happening across the country in Monroe Township, New Jersey; Zion, Illinois; and Chino, California. In
total, these walks will draw over 1,000 American Muslim youth and
guests nationwide. Last year, the organization raised over $90,000. “We
are dedicated to showing that Islam is a
religion of peace, not just through words, but through our actions,” said Dr.
Bilal Rana, president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organization.
