The task I face is selecting some scene that encapsulates what our city is.
As if that's not tough enough, it has to look good on this website, too. The trick is to take a horizontal photo in which the main feature is far to the left, or far to the right.

Venice, California is located in southern coastal California, and so the Venice Patch is framed by iconic palm trees. Campbell Patch, also in California, is lined on the left side by a recognizable tower.
