Columbia Stabbing: Video Released, Reward Offered

Police said there is a $5,000 reward for information after a 23-year-old was killed on Christmas night in a double stabbing in Columbia.

COLUMBIA, MD — Authorities are investigating a double stabbing that left one person dead and another injured in Columbia on Monday night. The man believed to be responsible for the stabbing left the scene.

Police responded to the Trellis Center in the 10700 block of Hickory Ridge Road at 9:40 p.m. on Christmas for a report of two people stabbed and found two victims.

James Fallin Jr., 23, of Columbia, was pronounced deceased at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said.

According to officials, a second victim was injured and survived; Warner Jackson, 22, of Columbia, was treated at shock trauma and released.

Based on preliminary investigation, police said Fallin and Jackson had gotten into an altercation with the suspect, whose identity is unknown, at the convenience store at Trellis Center in the 10700 block of Hickory Ridge Road before he stabbed them. Afterword, police said the suspect left with a woman.

There is a reward of up to $5,000 offered by police for help identifying the man and woman.
