Police Say Missing Columbia Girl Has Been Found

Howard County police provided an update on the 11-year-old girl who did not return home on Sunday.

COLUMBIA, MD — The 11-year-old girl who was reported missing from Columbia has been located, according to the Howard County Police Department.

Officials said the girl was unharmed when she was found.

Aaliyah Breona Mayfield was last seen at approximately 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, police said.

At the time, she was leaving her home in the 9400 block of Old Man Court, and authorities said her family alerted them when she did not come back as anticipated.

She is described as an African-American girl who is 5'3" tall and approximately 110 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. When last seen, she was wearing a gray crop top with blue jeans and had her hair in a ponytail.

Anyone with information about Aaliyah Breona Mayfield is asked to call 911.
