1st Annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Concert Band Festival March 28

The free event will be held at the University of Maryland College Park's Dekelboum Concert Hall in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center.

COLUMBIA, MD — Talented high school musicians from across Howard County will come together March 28 to perform in the first annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Concert Band Festival, a Music for All affiliated regional music festival, presented by Yamaha and in partnership with University of Maryland School of Music.

The free event will take place at the University of Maryland College Park's Dekelboum Concert Hall in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at 8270 Alumni Drive. The music festival will run from 9 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. and is open to the public.

  • 9:45 a.m.: Mt. Hebron High School
  • 10:30 a.m.: Marriotts Ridge High School
  • Noon: Atholton High School
  • 12:45 p.m.: Centennial High School Wind Ensemble
  • 3:30 p.m.: Centennial High School Symphonic Winds
  • 5 p.m.: River Hill High School
