2 Finalists Emerge In Howard County Student Member Of The Board Of Education Race
Two finalists have been chosen for Howard County's Student Member of the Board of Education. Students will vote for one May 1.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The two finalists in the race for the next Student Member of the Board of Education for Howard County have been chosen.
Wilde Lake High School junior Antonio Clay-Hardy and Atholton High School junior James Obasiolu were chosen by more than 130 student delegates at the Howard County Association of Student Councils Convention March 20. Eleven students ran for the SMOB position and the general election to choose the SMOB for the 2024-2025 school year will be held May 1.
All sixth through 11th grade HCPSS students can vote in the SMOB election, which will be conducted in Canvas.
