2 Guns Stolen from Apartment: Columbia Crime

A shoe thief got into the Mall in Columbia, and a bike was stolen from a balcony, Howard County police report.

The Howard County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

Two handguns were stolen from an apartment in the 4900 block of Columbia Road. The resident returned home at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, and found two people inside his apartment. One threatened him with a gun and demanded money. When he complied, the pair left. Nobody was injured.

Shoes and clothing were stolen from Lord & Taylor at the mall in the 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway at 11:55 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 7. The suspect got into the store through a door that was not secured.

A bicycle was stolen from a balcony in the 4900 block of Columbia Road sometime between 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, and 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6.
