2 Medevacs Required After I-95 Crash in Howard County
Two people were in critical condition from collision on Interstate 95 near MD 32 Thursday night, Howard County rescue officials say.

Howard County, MD — Two people were flown to shock trauma after a crash on Interstate 95 south near MD 32 Thursday night, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.
After 8:30 p.m., officials said that there had been a crash near the rest area, with at least one person trapped.
First responders had freed the trapped individuals before 9 p.m., according to rescue officials.

The interstate was shut down for the rescue operation and so the two medevacs could land.
By 9:20 p.m., both victims were on the way to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in a Maryland State Police helicopter and the U.S. Park Police helicopter.

Both were in critical condition, according to authorities.
All lanes had reopened on I-95 south as of approximately 10:15 p.m., WTOP reported.
Maryland State Police officials were investigating the collision.
