3 Condos in Columbia 'Heavily Damaged' by Fire: Officials
The Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services said at least eight people were displaced.

Several people were displaced as the result of a condo fire in Columbia over the weekend, officials said.
At 3 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to the 9600 block of Whiteacre Road for a fire, according to a report from the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.
The crew from the Long Reach station quickly put out a fire that had broken out in a small bedroom on the third floor of a condo building, the report said.

At least eight people were displaced and three condos heavily damaged as a result of the fire, the report stated.
The Red Cross was assisting the displaced residents, according to officials.
