3 Teens, 1 Adult Charged In Columbia Shooting: Howard County Police

Three teens and one adult have been charged in connection to a shooting that happened in Columbia earlier this month, police say.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Four teenagers have been charged in connection to a shooting that happened April 16 in Columbia, police say.

Howard County Police were called to the 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway April 16 around 4:50 p.m. for a report of a shot fired and a group of suspects leaving in a vehicle. Police found a bullet casing and a live round at the scene, along with two handguns. They also found the suspects' vehicle and arrested five suspects - Cameron Shalcosky-Proctor, 29, of Columbia; two 16-year-old boys from Glen Burnie; a 16-year-old boy from Baltimore; and a 17-year-old boy from Columbia, who have all charged with various weapon violations, the police department said.

Earlier that same day around 12:45 p.m., a teenage boy told Howard County Police that a group of suspects believed to be other teenagers approached him, pulled out a gun and stole his belongings. The incident happened in the 6100 block of Old Dobbin Lane, according to a police report. No one was injured.
