5K/10K Runners To Swarm Color Burst Park

COLUMBIA, MD — Lace up those running shoes and sign up for Columbia's largest foot race on April 19 at Color Burst Park.

Online registration ends at the close of the day Thursday for Discover Downtown Columbia 5K/10K, but also can be done in person during packet pick up times the day of the race. To view packet pick up times, click here.

More than 1,000 runners will hit the pavement for the 5K and 10K that shows off downtown Columbia and Lake Kittamaqundi. It's open to all levels of runners. However, pets, baby joggers/strollers, in-line skates, bicycles and other non-official wheeled vehicles are prohibited, organizers said.

All participants will receive a shirt and finisher medal.

Sign up online for the event, which begins and ends at Color Burst Park, located at 6221 Mango Tree Rd.
