7 HCPSS Students Receive Scholastic Art And Writing Awards

Seven Howard County Public School System high school students received recognition from the Scholastic art and writing awards program.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Seven Howard County Public School System high school students received national medals this year from the Scholastic art and writing awards program. The awards program is the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens.

The following students earned gold medals:

  • Tammy Chen, Centennial High School;
  • Yinxi Chen, Atholton High School;
  • Michelle Lee, River Hill High School; and
  • Naomi Ling, River Hill High School, who also won a silver medal.
