7th Happiest City In U.S. Found In Howard County, Survey Reveals

COLUMBIA, MD — In a comparison of more than 180 of the largest cities in the U.S. across 30 key indicators of happiness, Columbia has emerged as the seventh happiest city in America.

WalletHub released its report on 2023’s Happiest Cities in America. Columbia received a total score of 67.71 and was ranked:

• 3rd for emotional and physical well-being;
• 176th for income and employment;
• 28th for community and environment.

Last year, Columbia was ranked as the second happiest city in America.
