HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Warmer weather is a welcome prospect for many during the coronavirus crisis, but the blossoming plants and flowers in Howard County mean that allergies are set to rev up in the coming weeks.

The parks in bloom might be nice to look at, but for many residents with allergies, it means a whole lot of congestion and other uncomfortable symptoms.

Grass Pollen

• Sunday: Level None

According to the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, the most common symptoms of allergies are sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, watery eyes, itchy throat and eyes, and wheezing.
