Proposed Apartments Would Replace Aging Building In Columbia (patch.com) — Columbia residents may soon see a major change at Fall River Terrace, where a new four-story, 76-unit apartment building and nearby townhomes are planned to replace aging 1970s-era structures in Harper's Choice. The nonprofit developer promises energy-efficient systems, EV charging, and improved accessibility, aligning with Howard County's push to increase residential density and address the local housing shortage.

He credits mentors, Fresno State's EOP, and faith for helping him transform his life, and he hopes his story encourages local students and patients facing their own uphill battles.
   

4. TCOM Secures $600 Million Contract to Supply Aerostat Surveillance Systems to Poland (geneonline.com) — A major defense contract will be fulfilled from TCOM's headquarters in Columbia, where the company will produce and implement aerostat surveillance systems for the Polish military. While the $600 million deal focuses on NATO's eastern flank, it underscores the global reach and economic significance of this Columbia-based tech employer.
