Howard County General Hospital: New Professional Staff Officers Named for 2011

Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine (HCGH) announces the following new Professional Staff Officers for 2011:  Francis S. Chuidian, M.D., president; Clarita G. Frazier, M.D., vice-president and Nicholas W. Koutrelakos, M.D., secretary/treasurer.

 Dr. Chuidian joined the HCGH professional staff in 1996. He received his medical degree from the University of the Philippines and completed his internship at Philippine General Hospital in Manila. Dr. Chuidian completed his residency at the State University of New York in Brooklyn, New York, and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. He is with Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Associates, P.A.

 Dr. Frazier has been a member of the HCGH professional staff since 1995. She earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed an internship in internal medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Dr. Frazier served her residency in anesthesiology at Tufts – New England Medicine Center and an obstetric anesthesiology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is with Howard County Anesthesia Associates.

Dr. Koutrelakos joined the HCGH professional staff in 1989. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. He served a fellowship in oncology and hematology at the Brown University School of Medicine. Dr. Koutrelakos is with Maryland Oncology and Hematology P.A.
