
Mandy Snyder has joined Junior Achievement of Central Maryland (JA) as manager of strategic partnerships.
Along with developing and executing the annual operating campaign, Snyder is responsible for securing financial support for the organization. She organizes and qualifies donor leads, and develops and maintains relationships with donors.
Additional responsibilities include developing tools for donor solicitations, managing the implementation of the fundraising database, supporting public relations and special events, and assisting with budget preparation.

“I have been involved with nonprofits in the past and wanted to pursue a career within this industry,” Snyder said. “Junior Achievement allows me to continue my passion for working with nonprofits, while incorporating my interest and knowledge of the business industry.”
A Columbia resident, Snyder previously served as a marketing intern with the Bowie Baysox and the men’s rugby team at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management.

While in college, she also served as president and executive board member of the Make a Wish Foundation, belonged to Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Junior Achievement of Central Maryland is dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, Junior Achievement provides in-school and after-school programs for kindergarten through 12th grade students which focus on work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
