A Maryland resident with a confirmed case of measles traveled through Dulles International Airport last week, health officials announced Saturday.
The person is known to have passed through Dulles’ Concourse C, on transportation to the International Arrivals Building (IAB) and in the baggage claim area between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17.
Baltimore County Public Schools Selects New Superintendent
The next person to serve as superintendent for the Baltimore County Public Schools system has been selected, the board of education announced Saturday.
The winner of the top BCPS job was not named as the candidate must still be approved by Dr. Carey Wright, the Maryland state superintendent. Once approved, the person will be named Monday.
Multiple People Injured In Hanover Shooting, Investigation Underway
A total of six people, including two minors, were injured Saturday after a shooting broke out in Hanover.
Anne Arundel County Police said officials were called to the 1300 block of Charwod Road in Hanover around 4:40 a.m. for reports of an "unknown disturbance" tied to a possible shooting and large crowd dispersal.

Emergency personnel responded around 1:15 a.m. to Norbeck Road and Hannans Way, where they found a man suffering life-threatening injuries, according to police. He died at the scene, police said, adding the second motorcyclist was not hurt.
Crash Shuts Down All Northbound Lanes Of I-95
A crash Sunday afternoon shut down all northbound lanes of I-95, backing up traffic for miles.
The Maryland Department of Transportation reported a crash shortly after 4:10 p.m. June 21 on I-95 north near mile marker 39 in Howard County. Twenty minutes later, the MDOT reported all four northbound lanes were closed while emergency crews were at the scene. A shoulder along northbound I-95 also was shut down.
MD Man Sentenced For Threatening To Kill Former Congresswoman
A former reserve police officer for the Anne Arundel County Police Department was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison this week for threatening to kill Marjorie Taylor Greene, a former Republican congresswoman from Georgia.
Seth Jason, 65, of Edgewater, who is also a former Voice of America employee, pleaded guilty in December to one count of interstate communications with a threat to kidnap or injure and one count of anonymous telecommunications harassment, according to U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro.
Man Accused In Fatal Gaithersburg Hit-And-Run Arrested At NJ Airport
Josue David Carranza Castellon, a 26-year-old accused in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Gaithersburg, was arrested at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey while attempting to board a flight to Honduras, police announced Friday.
He is charged with manslaughter by vehicle and failure to remain at the scene of a crash resulting in death.
Woman Killed In Suspected Hit-And-Run In Silver Spring
Montgomery County police are searching for the driver of an SUV they say struck and killed a woman Friday in Silver Spring.
Investigators believe a black SUV with tinted windows was involved in the collision and left the area. The vehicle is believed to have damage to its right front bumper and fender.
