The Morgan Stanley Foundation has made a charitable gift of $5,000 to The Horizon Foundation. The grant further leverages the ongoing volunteer activities of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney employees in the Baltimore office.
The Horizon Foundation was chosen after Robert I. Jeffrey, a financial advisor with the firm in Baltimore and a Trustee at the Horizon Foundation, received a community service award from the firm.
The Northeast region and the mid-Atlantic division are matching the Foundation’s grant to bring the total gift to $10,000.

“Morgan Stanley Smith Barney employees continuously demonstrate their commitment to
strengthening and supporting our communities. This gift from the Foundation offers us an additional opportunity to make a difference in the communities and neighborhoods in which we live and work. It’s a great pleasure that on a local level we are able to donate to The Horizon Foundation,” said Scott Boylan, the Complex/Branch Manager. “We strongly encourage volunteerism in the office and Bob’s actions are a great example of what we all should strive to do for our community.”
