Woman Wanted In Gas Station Employee Shooting

Howard County Police asks for the public's help in identifying the female suspect wanted in shooting of a gas station employee Friday night.

COLUMBIA, MD — The public's help is needed in identifying the person police say is the suspect wanted for a shooting inside a Shell gas station Friday night. A reward of up to $1,000 has been offered for information in the case.

The female suspect has been described as wearing a black dress and slides.

The shooting happened around 7:43 p.m. Friday at the Shell located in the 7200 block of Cradlerock Way. A male employee was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries, the police department stated.

Detectives believe the suspect was attempting to rob the gas station when she fired shots at the employee before leaving the scene, according to Howard County Police.
