Anthropologie, 3 Other Businesses Coming to Columbia Mall
The shops will be part of the open-air plaza at The Mall in Columbia.
Representatives from the Mall in Columbia announced that two women's fashion retailers and two restaurants will open soon at its new open-air plaza.
Talbots and Anthropologie will open this summer.
- Talbots, which has more than 500 stores offeringĀ classic women'sĀ apparel and accessories, will move into aĀ 10,890-square-foot space.
- AnthropologieĀ will featureĀ clothing, accessories and home decor in a 9,142-square-foot store,Ā adding Columbia to its 175 Anthropologie shops in the U.S., United Kingdom and Canada.
- MaggianoāsĀ will open in June. ItĀ offers Italian-American cuisine, availableĀ family-style or as individual entrees, as well asĀ a list ofĀ wines that includesĀ its own label. The restaurant will be inĀ 8,254 square feet next to Bank of America. The only other Maggiano's in MarylandĀ is in Annapolis.
- Seasons 52,Ā a fresh grill and wine bar, will be across from Maggiano's. It also has one restaurant in Maryland, in North Bethesda. Its menu reflects the seasons and changes accordingly.
Since the start of the expansion at the Columbia mall, eightĀ retailers have opened in itsĀ open-air plaza:Ā Arhaus, Athleta, lululemon athletica, Secolari, Soma Intimates, True Religion, Zoe's Kitchen and a first-to-market AT&T Mobility concept store.

The mall expansionĀ projectĀ is one of the first to break ground as part of the recently approved master plan for downtown Columbia, according to aĀ statement from mall representatives. The master plan calls for 13Ā million square feet of retail, commercial, residential, hotel and cultural development over 30 years, the statement said.Ā Groundbreaking for the mall projectĀ wasĀ in 2013.
