Armed Intruder Tries To Break Into Columbia Home: Police
A woman was home at the time of the attempted break-in and alerted Howard County Police.
COLUMBIA, MD — A woman who resides in the 7100 block of Brandywine Way had a frightening experience Tuesday. At approximately 4 p.m. she discovered a man attempting to open the rear sliding glass door of her home. When the man noticed her, he pulled out a gun and demanded that she open the door.
The woman tripped an alarm inside the home to alert the police and the man, along with another male suspect, took off. Police are still searching for the subjects believed to be 5'7 to 6 feet tall, possibly in their 20s.
