Baby Won't Wait: Mom In Labor Pulls Into Howard County Fire Station To Deliver

A mom in labor realized her baby wasn't going to wait for her to reach the hospital, so she pulled into a fire station and delivered there.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A mom-to-be who was actively in labor and en route to the hospital Monday morning quickly realized that her baby wasn't interested in waiting.

The woman pulled into Howard County Fire Station 11 and firefighters and paramedics loaded her into the ambulance, then delivered the baby right there.

"The baby was in a hurry and wasn't prepared to wait for mom to get to the hospital," Howard County Fire and Rescue tweeted.

Mom and baby were then taken to the hospital and reportedly are "doing well."
