3 Displaced In Columbia Apartment Fire: Officials
A balcony fire broke out on Hickory Ridge Road Monday morning, Howard County fire and rescue officials said.
COLUMBIA, MD - Three people were displaced by a fire on Hickory Ridge Road in Columbia Monday morning.
Before 10:30 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a balcony ablaze in the 10700 block of Hickory Ridge Road.
Crews quickly knocked the fire, which broke out on the third floor of an apartment complex, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

After 10:30 a.m., authorities reported the fire had been placed under control.
The Red Cross was assisting three people who were displaced by the fire, and the cause was being investigated.
