Columbia Association Board to Hold Meeting on May 30
This May 30 meeting is the first CA Board meeting in a while that is being held on a day other than the second or fourth Thursday of the month.
Columbia Association’s (CA) Board of Directors will be holding a public meeting on Thursday, May 30, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at CA Headquarters, located at 10221 Wincopin Circle in Columbia.

Consultants with ClubIntel will report the results of market research that centered on the perception that people, including residents, club members and employees, have of Columbia Association’s brand and the value of CA’s offerings. The presentation also will include recommendations on how CA can consistently shape, message and deliver on its brand promise to its audiences through its programs, facilities and services.

CA staff will present a proposal to heat the pool in Dorsey’s Search for year-round use, which is responsive to one of the recommendations of the 2012 Aquatics Master Plan.

Consultants with ClubIntel will speak about their findings and recommendations regarding the concept — including the amenities, service and experiences — for a new club that will be opening in the former Rouse Co. headquarters in Downtown Columbia. After that, CA staff will brief the board on the progress to date on the new club’s development.
