Emergency Repairs to Slow Traffic on I-95 Near Laurel

Two-lane closure may affect commuters into the rush hour, according to State Highway Administration.

Drivers should expect delays on Interstate 95 in the area of MD Route 216/Scaggsville Road Tuesday afternoon due to emergency roadwork, officials said.

At 12:30 p.m., crews planned to begin making emergency repairs on the bridge on I-95 north over Stansfield Road, the State Highway Administration reported after noon.

Workers will close the two left lanes to repair the deck, according to the report.
