Brewhouse in Columbia Sets Tentative Opening Date

A brewhouse is under construction in Columbia Crossing, where the Macaroni Grill used to be. BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, which has presence in more than 20 states, is making a mark for itself in Columbia.

A new restaurant is being built near Buffalo Wild Wings at the Columbia Crossing shopping center, near Target. It is the fourth BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Maryland for the company, which has other locations in Towson, Laurel and Frederick.

BJ's is known for its craft beer, deep-dish pizza and light menu options, with appetizers, sandwiches, salads, soups, pastas, entrees and desserts on the menu as well.

The new restaurant, which will seat 245 guests, is expected to open in early 2017, the Baltimore Business Journal reported.

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse will be at 6181 Columbia Crossing Circle in Columbia, formerly occupied by the Macaroni Grill.
