New Senior Community Features Restored Athol Manor And Park

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Brightview Senior Living has laid down roots in Columbia. Located at 6670 Martin Road, Brightview Columbia serves seniors needing both independent living and assisted living options, along with memory care in Wellspring Village found within the community.

Brightview Columbia offers a variety of apartments based on individual need: 91 independent living, 53 assisted living and 26 apartments designed specifically for the needs of residents living with dementia. Studios, one- and two-bedroom spaces are available, each with premium amenities like granite countertops, a balcony, spacious closets and natural light. Meals are created by an executive chef and there's a pub with daily happy hour specials, billiards, shuffleboard, outdoor gardens, courtyards, bocce ball courts, library, computer room, card room, art studio, beauty salon, fitness studio and juice bar.

Brightview Columbia was designed with a nod to Athol Manor, an historic property found within walking distance to the community. Brightview restored the manor and revitalized the adjacent Manor Park. Athol Manor was gifted by Brightview to the Community Foundation of Howard County.
