Burglar Caught On Camera: Can You ID Him?

This individual broke into a Jessup home Sunday and stole electronics, say the Howard County police.

JESSUP, MD — A home camera system captured images Sunday of a burglar who broke into a Jessup home, and the Howard County police have released the photos on Facebook, asking for tips from the public to identify the individual.

The break-in occurred early Sunday afternoon at a home in the 8800 block of Red Spruce Way, the police said. At about 12:53 p.m., an individual who lives in the home heard an intruder. The resident yelled from another room, and the intruder fled with electronics gear that he had stolen. No one was injured, the police said.

The burglar caught on camera appears to be a black male with a thin build and a long beard, wearing a blue hat, a white T-shirt and tan shorts, the police said.
