Join us in the HCC Campus Garden for Visualizing the Garden Within, a hands-on gardening and sustainability series.
Theme of the Day: Use and Value Diversity – In this class, we’ll explore the power of diversity in the garden by discussing a variety of gardening techniques that go beyond standard practices. We’ll dive into tutorials on microgreens and hydroponics, two innovative growing methods that can be used year-round, even in small spaces.
Participants will have the opportunity to see demonstrations, ask questions, and receive starter kits for both microgreens and hydroponics to take home and try for themselves.
This workshop is presented in collaboration with Columbia Community Care, bringing together community knowledge and resources to support local food access and skill sharing.
You’ll leave with practical skills, tools to start your own projects, and new ideas to expand the ways you grow and harvest food.
All materials are provided—just bring yourself, a water bottle, and your curiosity.
