Cancer Walks For Patients, Survivors, Caregivers Begin Thursday In Howard County
Walks for cancer patients, survivors and their caregivers will begin Thursday. The walking groups will have two speeds offered.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Claudia Mayer/Tina Broccolino Cancer Resource Center at Howard County General Hospital will be offering ongoing slow- and regular-paced walking groups for cancer patients, survivors and their caregivers.
Morning, afternoon and evening walks take place at Lake Kittamaqundi starting behind Whole Foods in Columbia.
Walks for June will be offered at the following times:

- Slow-paced walk on Thursday, June 23, from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m.
- Regular-paced walk on Thursday, June 23, from 10 to 11 a.m.
- Slow-paced walk on Monday, June 27, from 1:45 to 2:15 p.m.
- Regular-paced walk on Monday, June 27, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
- Regular-paced walk on Tuesday, June 28, from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.
- Slow-paced walk on Thursday, June 30, from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m.
- Regular-paced walk on Thursday, June 30, from 10 to 11 a.m.
