Casino Winner Robbed After Driving 15 Miles Home: Police
Three men have been charged in the armed robbery of a Columbia man after he won money at Maryland Live! casino.

Three Baltimore men are being held without bail in connection with the holdup of a Columbia man after he got home from the Maryland Live! casino earlier this month, police said. The suspects were seen following the victim around the casino as he was cashing out and into the parking garage, investigators said.
The victim drove the approximately 15 miles from Arundel Mills to his home in Columbia and was getting out of his vehicle when several men threatened him, one with a gun, according to police. They stole his cash and keys, then left, officials reported. At 12:46 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, the Howard County Police Department responded to the robbery in the 6300 block of Bright Plume Court in Columbia.
Following the department's investigation, these individuals were charged, police said Friday, Jan. 27:

- Hayman Rajab Abdulrahman, 23, of the 3400 block of Eastern Avenue in Baltimore, was charged with armed robbery; robbery; theft from $1,000 to $10,000; using a firearm to commit a felony; conspiracy to commit robbery; and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Abdulrahman was arrested Tuesday, Jan. 24.
- Sangar Kamal Majed, 27, of the 1700 block of Searles Road in Dundalk, was charged with armed robbery; conspiracy to commit armed robbery; robbery; conspiracy to commit robbery; and theft from $1,000 to $10,000. Majed was arrested Thursday, Jan. 26, court records show.
- Khalil Mohammadi, 22, of the 100 block of North Clinton Street, was charged with armed robbery; robbery; theft from $1,000 to $10,000; using a firearm in a felony crime; conspiracy to commit armed robbery; and conspiracy to commit robbery. Mohammadi was arrested Monday, Jan. 23.
Abdulrahman, Majed and Mohammadi were being held without bail at the Howard County Detention Center, police reported Friday, Jan. 27.
