Columbia Association's Camp Extra takes middle schoolers to West Virginia adventure park from Oct.7-9

Spend a weekend under the stars with Columbia Association’s Camp Extra!

Students in grades six through eight can try a sampling of Nature Extreme Camp from Friday Oct. 7 to Sunday, Oct. 9 on an overnight camping trip to Harpers Ferry, W.V., at a Kampgrounds of America.

Enjoy River Rider’s Adventure Park, featuring zip lines, nine rope courses, bridges, ladders, tunnels and a rock wall, plus a tour of historic Harpers Ferry. All meals are included; the trip costs $150 per person.

Meet at 5:30pm; buses leave at 6pm from the Columbia Youth and Teen Center (5853 Robert Oliver Place in the Oakland Mills Village Center) and return Sunday, Oct. 9 at noon.
