COLUMBIA, MD — Students at Wilde Lake High School will have the opportunity to further develop their citizenship skills and experience advanced successes now that their school has partnered with Wilde Lake Interfaith Religious Center.
Through its congregations, the interfaith center will provide support for WLHS events and programs, such as providing volunteers for junior interviews, mentors for student internships and donations to fund Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) initiatives. The interfaith center and the high school also will work together to coordinate overflow parking for large-scale community events.
The Wilde Lake Interfaith Religious Center, located in the heart of Columbia, is home to two religious congregations. The facility offers space for seminars, business meetings, events and gatherings. The Howard County Public School System’s Partnerships Office has united schools with more than 1,000 businesses and community organizations to enhance the educational experience of Howard County students.
